The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting health systems all around the globe. COVID-19 rapid dissemination throughout the world has put increasing pressures on health resources, facilities and health care workers. Aside from this, it is impacting the wider economy more than we ever could’ve expected. It has resulted in many unfortunate job losses, working from home, limiting shopping trips, cancelled sporting competitions, events and even changes to schooling. But you already know this. You’ve been living through it and taking each day as it comes. It is only the beginning of something which none of us has ever experienced before. This means that as allied health professionals, it’s time for us to adapt.
What Does COVID-19 Mean For CCHP?
In short? WE ARE STILL OPEN. All our modalities (physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage, exercise physiology and podiatry have been classified as essential services, meaning we are still able to operate on our premises as the government have deemed if we stop providing these services, it could endanger the life, health or personal safety of the whole or part of the population. Therefore, we will keep on serving the community to the best of our ability by providing services on our premises.
However, we do acknowledge that during this time, not all clients will be able to leave their homes, whether it be due to self-isolation, or being immuno-compromised. As a result, we as a company will be including alternative arrangements to ensure you are still able to have access to allied health care during this time.
Moving Forward
As a means of guaranteeing your health and safety, we want to provide you with alternative arrangements to attending a physical appointment if you are currently self isolating. Therefore, we will now be introducing ONLINE CONSULTATIONS for physiotherapy!
