She takes a team-based approach with her clients, identifying specific barriers to their goals and working with them to find achievable options that are most suited to their individual needs.
When Clemency isn’t making (and eating) delicious, healthy and simple to prepare meals, she is spending time with her friends and family. She loves to snorkel during the summer months as well as walking her beloved pooch!
About Dietetics
Dietetics is all about helping to improve human health through the prescription of expert dietary and nutritional advice. Dietitians help their clients to see the relationship between what they consume, when they consume it, and the effect this has on their health. Clemency likes to work in partnership with her clients to aid them in developing strategies to implement beneficial changes into their daily habits.
An important part of a dietitian’s role lies in the prevention of disease. They also have the ability to help in the management of certain health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, gastrointestinal issues, obesity, some autoimmune conditions, and anaemia. They are able to help people with specific nutritional requirements and intolerances, as well as those who have difficulty with consuming and intaking food.
A dietitian can help ensure you are eating a well-balanced diet which supports all of your nutritional needs. At your first appointment, you will be asked about your food habits and lifestyle, as well as your medical history and health goals. It is a good idea to bring along any recent blood tests, as well as any relevant medical details you are hoping our dietitian can help you with.
